I am an independent PR pro with 15+ years of experience. This experience includes handling PR for directors of TV commercials at some of the biggest production companies in the world. My reward for writing thousands of bios, press releases, and articles was attending the Cannes ad fest for a decade in which my clients won the Palm D’Or and Grand Prix. We all swam naked in the Mediterranean, a reward in itself. For these clients and more, I’ve garnered placement in every industry trade – in SHOOT, Creativity & shots directors issues, the Cannes Lions Dailies, in Adweek, AdAge, Adcritic, AgencySpy and so on. An early adopter when it came to SEO and Social Media, I took on the task of launching Bandito Brothers into the commercial directing world (see Bandito Brothers, PW: BMW). In 2015, I used social media to engage viewers, driving Scott Zabielski’s “Middle Seat” to the $1m Grand Prize in Doritos’ Crash the Super Bowl Contest (see “Middle Seat”, PW: Doritos).
Throughout, I’ve made time to get creative myself – writing some cult films featuring spaceships and bikinis, producing and acting in a lot of Web content, and expanding into creative marketing/PR outside the ad world. Working with SLAM (Sportie LA Media), I crafted and executed grassroots PR campaigns for major footwear brands, and oversaw the launch and marketing their online magazines.
