While the politicians and the establishment hacks argue about issues like “jobs” and “economy” and “caucus”, what no one will tell you is this: none of it matters. This is America, it’s the world, in fact, and to succeed and rise above yourself, I’m about to tell you all you need to know.
But first, a little secret: all those people up on those stages at those rallies? They’re rich. Even the “poor” ones – the ones without billions of dollars – are rich. Except one, but he is in the single digits in the polls and we’re not talking about him. The point is this: with wealth comes freedom, and wealth comes from money. Money, and this is true, comes from, get this: other people. That’s right. In order for you to have it, someone has to give it to you. I’m going to tell you how to get them to do just that.
Now, you may think the easiest route is to get all the money you need from one person. That’s actually ridiculous. I don’t say this to make you feel bad – although if you’re going to be a success, you’ll need to develop a thick skin, which is why some of the most successful people in the world are the product of hard times or at least dysfunctional families. Or inheritance. Speaking of which, there are some successful candidates for President who got all their money from one person – a father – but that was a loan and they paid it back. And from there, they made all of their considerable money on their own, tens of times over. But here’s what most people don’t know: you can make more money by selling one product to millions of people than you can from selling millions of products to one person. (there are exceptions: there are people in the world who have a fortune big enough to buy a million of what you have, but they don’t make purchases online like the rest of us. So a little extra piece of advice I’ll give you for free is this: do the math, and invest in ecommerce to sell to the greatest number of people who can buy your product, earning you the money you need.)
I’ll give you my ecommerce secret in a moment, but first, speaking of need, how much money do you actually need? Before you answer, take out a pen and paper. Or better yet, a pencil, because I can already tell you that your answer will change when you hear my amazing secret.
If you wrote “a million dollars,” that’s okay. I was there once myself. The problem is, you don’t need a million dollars. You need to earn a million dollars. And to do that, you need to set a price point. That’s the point on a scale of prices at which something might be marketed. Sure, you could Google that, but I just told you for free.
If you’re smart, and you are, you’ve also realized that I’ve already given away my secrets without realizing it. And the secrets are two:
- You can do all the important things in life by doing it on your own; and

I realize now that if I had written a self-help book before writing the article, I could have sold millions of copies by following Secret #2. But every failure is a chance to succeed, and I’ve won your trust by telling it to you for free. So it’s a win-win. Regardless of where we started, we’re both winners now.
