“I am working with a NEW producer who specializes in crossover entertainment,” says entertainer Hersh Rephun, who is attempting to translate his hit Berlin musical comedy extravaganza into a Hollywood stage production. “He successfully made Hans Schlubershteindel a household name here in the US and I’m confident he’ll do the same for me!”
Does this mean Hersh’s plans for a large-scale production are being scaled back? Hardly. “The shortest distance between two points is a bridge,” says Hersh, adding that it’s more about the type of entertainment he’s bringing to the iconic Pig ‘N Whistle. “I have to give American audiences what they want: Who needs the Wiener Philharmoniker when you can have Kanye West or some other reality star??”
In addition to a Kanye-like attraction, joining Hersh on this go-round are standout comics Jordan Brady (“I Am Comic”) and Michael Blaustein (every college in America). Special guest and offspring Menachem Rephun (Flappers, Cozy Comedy) will also appear.
