
Sure, I’m proud of the 600 workout milestone I hit last week. But while that milestone was still in the making, I committed to my Personal Brand.
There are the things we do. And there’s who we are.
“What do you do?” can be a tricky question for some of us to answer. I specialize in helping people with a complicated answer distill it down to a simple statement. A statement that can be communicated a thousand different ways, because when you are clear on something, you don’t have to memorize a sentence.
And when I say, “I did it,” I mean that I created a language around my Personal Brand. It goes beyond Voice. It’s Vocabulary. And IMHO, you need both in order to communicate with clarity – across all channels – and get your point across.
How do we achieve that mastery over our Personal Brand Voice and Vocabulary?

It’s the road you are on. I didn’t set out to have the record for “the most workouts at this location,” either. I don’t even know how many clients I’ve served at this point in my career, but I do know it’s in the hundreds.
My book is now out, another milestone – one I’d expected to hit sooner (oh, I can’t wait to share THAT story!) – but dates don’t matter, nor do sales. What I control is quality and my own commitment to selling the truth with humor and humanity.
The reason this is all so meaningful to me is that I am on the right path. Or as we say in the business, I’m ON BRAND.
