Clarity isn’t the issue. Timing is.

You’ve probably heard it.

“Can you simplify that?” “Can you make it clearer?” “Can you say it so people get it faster?”

And you can.

You’re not confused. You’re not rambling. You’re not unclear.

If anything, you’re over-capable of explaining it.

That’s not the issue.

The issue is that you’re speaking from a place they haven’t reached yet.

So when you compress it…

you don’t make it clearer.

You make it easier to categorize.

And once something gets categorized, it stops being explored.

It becomes:

“I know what this is.”

Even when they don’t.

Now they understand it.

Just not the version you’re actually operating from.

Which is why it lands…

and then sits there.


You’re not being misunderstood because it’s confusing.

You’re ahead of where they’re listening from.
